We just received an email stating that they have picked up our family’s Article 5 (signed 2nd acceptance letter) from the US Consulate in China and now it is off to the proper authorities in Bejing, the CCAA. The Article 5 typically takes about 2-3 days to be delivered to the CCAA. Once the CCAA receives this document, they will have all that they need to issue our family’s travel approval, officially inviting us to China to adopt our baby girl! The CCAA typically takes about 2-4 weeks to issue a travel approval and then we actually travel to China 10-18 days after that! This update is great news for our family as we are one step closer to getting our little one in China!
