In Memory of Timothy J. Davis

Timothy James Davis, 28, of 219 Reed Road New Castle passed away at UPMC Passavant, Pittsburgh on Jan. 10, 2008 after a brief illness.  Born May 2, 1979 in Youngstown, he was the beloved son of the late Mary Grace Conroy Davis and Paul and Sharon Davis.

He was a graduate of Mohawk High School and Spring Arbor University.  He was employed by UPMC as a Marketing Director, Autism Research and as a licensed agent with AFLAC.


Mr. Davis enjoyed traveling, photography, cars, playing the piano, playing tennis, riding and showing horses, and his family.  He was very involved with his church, Victory Christian Center, where he helped with the music ministry and photography.


In honor of Tim Davis' memory, his family and Operation ACTS are in the beginning stages of drilling a well in Africa at the Harvest Blessings Centre orphanage in Ngoliba,Kenya (view pictures). The drilling project should be started sometime this year.  Tim's three trips to Kenya sparked a love in his heart for the people of this nation.  All contributions that have already been made to Operation ACTS in Tim's memory will be used for this purpose.  To help out with this project or future projects in Tim's memory, please send contributions payable to
